Free Aid for Answers is a free quiz game with a simple idea behind it: answer questions, and every correct answer helps fund a real donation to a cause you care about. You don't pay anything. You sharpen your money skills, pick a cause, and turn what you already know into help for someone who needs it.
Most of us want to give back — but "donate now" usually means "spend money you may not have." And the money skills that would make giving easier (budgeting, saving, understanding credit and taxes) are the exact things school tends to skip. Free Aid for Answers was built to chip away at both at once: a way to give back when cash is tight, and a way to get a little sharper about money while you do it.
We were inspired by FreeRice, the wonderful UN-backed game that fights hunger through vocabulary. We pointed the same idea in a slightly different direction — toward financial literacy, several causes you can choose between, and charities based close to home in California.
Pick a cause — rice, beans, kibble, ocean cleanup, or trees. Answer financial literacy questions or general knowledge. Every correct answer helps fund a donation to that cause. No account, no cost, no catch.
This is the part we most want to be clear about. Your play supports four real, registered California nonprofits — most of them right here on the Central Coast:
We donate to these organizations. They are not affiliated with, and do not sponsor or endorse, Free Aid for Answers — we simply send them support, and we name them so you can always see exactly where help goes.
You never pay. The donations are funded by the ads and sponsors on the site. That's the whole model: you generate value by showing up and playing, and that value pays for the giving. We'd rather tell you plainly how the money works than leave you guessing.
Free Aid for Answers is a small, independent project, run by people who simply wanted it to exist. We're not a big organization and we're not pretending to be one — so instead of asking you to take our word for it, we try to be completely open about how the money works and where it goes (it's all above). Our financial questions are reviewed by a licensed tax professional.
We'll keep it honest. We name every charity your play supports, we tell you how the site is funded, and as Free Aid for Answers grows we'll share real numbers on what's been raised — actual figures, not vague claims. Small and true beats big and vague.
